  • No penalty shots - No sliding or slide tackling - A Foul in front of the goal – restart with a throw in

There is no offside in Group I.  This no offside rule was intended to simplify the game and avoid
dealing with a somewhat complicated rule with young players. However, in recent years, some coaches
have taken advantage of the no offside rule by positioning an offensive player directly in front of an
opponent’s goal in what would normally be an off sides position. This is no longer allowed.

“The offensive team may not position a player closer to an opponent’s goal than the second to last defensive player or the ball. The penalty will be an indirect kick”
